Widening Participation actions within Horizon Europe focuses on helping build and develop research and innovation capacity within EU Member States and Associated countries that are underperforming. The program will allow them to upgrade relevant systems, promote networking and increase their participation in transitional research and innovation.
There are four areas of intervention that Horizon Europe uses for Widening Participation: Teaming, Twinning, ERA Chairs, and COST. Each provide a unique range of skills that help reduce the research and innovation disparities across institutions and countries. Actions taken within these areas will allow the EU to advance in research and innovation together.
