The Institute for Human Sciences in Vienna is organizing workshops aimed at researchers in the areas of history, anthropology, political science, sociology, science and technology studies, and cultural and literary studies from Central, Eastern, and South-Eastern Europe, who intend to apply for ERC Starting and Consolidator Grants. The aim is to give a small group of applicants individualized advice regarding the development of their projects’ academic content through intensive discussion with established scholars, who have served as members of ERC evaluation panels, or who have held ERC grants themselves and will act as mentors. The initiative’s workshops focus exclusively on the conception and design of academic research projects and are meant to complement the work of the National Contact Points (NCPs) for the ERC program.
The workshop will be held remotely on December 2-3, 2022, the language of instruction will be English, and the participation is free.
Register until October 14th, 2022 for participation (email: gentrit.berisha@uni-pr.edu). Places are limited.
